Miracle Question: (1) When you wake up in the morning, what’s the 1st small sign you’d see that would make you think, Well something must have happened - the problem is gone? (2) another way to ask it: If a miracle solved your problem, what would you be doing differently the next morning? (3) another way to ask: What’s the 1st small sign you would see that would make you think the problem was gone?
Then ask: How would your day be different if you (were not depressed, were not overweight, were happy with your job, were healthy, were getting along with your loved one, etc etc).
Then ask: What will you do instead?
Then ask: How could they tell that?
Then ask: What else?
You have to See-Feel-Change… One way to motivate action (change) is to make people feel as though they’re closer to the finish line than they might have thought.
