Do what is difficult when it is easy - Lao Tzu
The best time to kick start the life you want to live is right now. Yes, right now. If you are working at a job you hate, or just don't want to be doing, now is the perfect time to start setting yourself up to transition into the thing you want to be doing. Like Lao Tzu's says, when you do what is difficult when it is easy you are going to be way ahead of the game when things get tuff.
Use this current job to help you transition into what you want to be doing. Work extra hours if you can to make the extra money so you can have a bigger savings account. Use it to build solid relationships with those that can help you in your new thing, before you no longer work there and cannot reach out to them as easily. This could even be the owner of the company. Maybe they can start to mentor you and help get you in the right mind frame. Obviously talking to the owner will only work for some of you and depending on where you currently work.
You should use this time to learn everything you possible can about what you want to do, the competition and about what will make you say I have Health, Wealth, Love and Happiness. The reality is you need to constantly be learning from Mentors, Books, other People who are in the industry you want to be in and any way that will build your knowledge base in all of the 4 areas H.W.L.H. .
With the dizzying rate of change in technology and increasing competition driven by the globalization of markets and technology, we must not only be educated, we must constantly re-educate and reinvent ourselves... We must develop our minds and continually sharpen and invest in the development of our competencies to avoid becoming obsolete. - Stephen Covey
Observe, record, tabulate, communicate. Use your 5 senses. Learn to see, learn to hear, learn to feel, learn to smell, and know that by practice alone you can become and expert - Sir William Oster
