Throughout this workshop I have dropped some very important knowledge and empowerment techniques. Those who have drive, and get what the grind is all about and are dedicated to improving their life and doing what they want in life will understand everything about this free workshop. They will understand the underlying meaning of the quotes and know that they have been offered to give insights into what it takes to achieve the lifestyle they want. They are guided techniques, but only if you want them to be.
Like anything however, there are/will be those who don't get anything I have shared. They will argue that what I have taught is a joke, just quotes, and not really helping them achieve anything new. I was once in this category and would of called bullshit on this workshop, because on the surface it does not really seem to be anything more than quotes, and how can a quote with some quick insights beyond them really do anything to change anything?
Cognitive Psychologist speak of Metacognition, which is the activity of stepping back and thinking about your own thinking. This one simple knowledge drop, Metacognition, is a very powerful tool, one that put me out of the latter category and into the former category. It is not the only thing that has done this however. Reading non-fiction books, constantly going to bed a little bit wiser every day, finding mentors, willing and able to evolve and adapt and change on a dime, and being a truth seeker are all things I do which expand, not only my knowledge and wisdom, but the life I want to live.
One of the most important lifestyle changes that has helped me so tremendously in life, from being able to learn more, to feeling 100% better about myself, to having a clear mind, to understanding myself and being in tune with myself is Yoga & Meditation. Specifically meditation.
The art of clearing the mind is very powerful and has tremendous benefits in every aspect of life, including creating the life you want. It goes hand in hand with Metacognition. You have to think one step deeper (tai lopez & countless others) and meditation is an excellent way to achieve this. It is also superb for getting rid of stress in the body and mind.
Creating the life you want all comes down to being more productive and putting more value in every hour rather than more work into every hour.
Ever wonder why a lawyer charges $300+ an hour, when all they did was file some paper work for you? It is because they know everything about that thing and have the knowledge and wisdom to be able to file the right thing... their schooling and education and work experience all combined mean they don't have to go searching around to figure out what they need to file. You are paying for their combined education and experience and the fact that they have simulated like a survival machine.
If you want to create the life you want you are going to have to put in the work. Do you think someone like Bill Gates only works 4 hours a day? Do you think someone like Jeff Bezos only works 4 hours a day. If these people and people like them only worked 4 hours a day we would never have Microsoft or Amazon. Do you really think they could of achieved these things by only working 4 hours a day? NO, not in the slightest.
One of the best ways to start building new positive habits for yourself is to start doing today. Don't wait until tomorrow. So here is a simple map to aid in achieving doing today:
Each day for 30 days Focus on one (1) Core Project for 90 minutes. This is literally so effective and so simple that over the course of the next 18 months you very well could be quitting that day job you don't want to be at anymore and starting your new life that you want. The reason why this works so well is because when you experience positive momentum you'll never want to stop - Dan Sullivan
Once you start getting into the habit of allowing yourself just 90 minutes a day to work towards your new life it is going to become addictive and before too long you will have forgotten all about: TV, hanging out with people who only reinforce the negative in yourself, and wasting time not doing what you should be doing to accomplish the life you want. You will be well on your way to your new life. But it has to start somewhere, right? You have to start doing and stop procrastinating.
Read a book a day, don't watch TV. Practice meditation, instead of having a drink. Practice some type of exercise, any type, find the thing you like to do and do it. Work towards your new life goal of earning a living through your craft by spending 90 minutes a day on it or an aspect of it. Eat a proper diet and try laying off the junk food all the time. Get a mentor or mentors. Stop making excuses. Put more value into every hour, not more work.
